Mrs. Gasson, Mrs. Whitling, and the 5th grade counselor Mrs. Krugh, have worked hard to assemble almost all Team Characters girl students to create a Girls Group. It helps girl get through life’s problems. They explain how to get through friendships, bullying, and stereotypes.
Girls attended meetings on Wednesday and Thursday. Examples of what we learned is, girls can be strong and smart even though stereotypes say otherwise. Also, that being a girl is not an insult but a compliment. The group has taught me and all the other attendants I’m sure how to love life as a girl.
